Reading Response
This week I read from the book Moneyball, which was recently turned into a big name movie. I read from the beginning to page 153. The book begins talking about the life a boy named Billy Beane, Billy had all the makings of a big name ball player, but he doesn't have the drive to enjoy baseball. He eventually fails as a baseball player but is able to get a job in the front office of The Oakland Ball club. He works his way up slowly to the position of a General manager of the baseball team. He is in the process of scouting new players, and is using a very unique system to scout his new players.
